DON'T SIT LIKE A ROCK, WORK LIKE A CLOCK πŸ•’

We all know that elephants were tied with a small rope when they were relaxing. It was a amazing fact that the elephant don't even try to break the rope and set themselves free. And the reason is when they were young and smaller they use the same size rope to tie them. At that age it's enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe that they cannot break away. They believe that the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free. It is the false belief of the elephants that denied their freedom for life time. Likewise, many people are not trying to work towards success in their life just because they failed once before. One famous quote says that "FAILURES ARE THE STEPPING STONES TO SUCCESS" .To succeed in life, one should work hard as a clock. Clock doesn't say " I'm tired, I need to take rest, I can't move on". Instead it is working 24/7. It donated its whole life for its work.

HOW TO WORK HARD?

"There is no substitute for hard work"- "THOMAS.A.EDISION.

One should work hard continuously to reach success. Hardworking is directly proportional to success. Here are some tips to work hard

  • Ignore negativity
  • Put hard work as your priority
  • Pass through struggles
  • See opportunity in obstacles
  • Value yourself

IGNORE NEGATIVITY

Sometimes we may work hard, but the people around us will insist negative words and make us to feel low. In a sunny morning some frogs were traveling through woods. On the way, two of them accidentally fell into a pit. The other frogs which were safe upside understood how deep the pit was and saw no hope for the frogs to escape out of it. But both the frogs started to jumping. They failed many times. Remaining frogs shouted at them to give up. Eventually, one frog heard the other frogs and decided to stop trying and fell down to death. However, the other frog went on trying and at last managed to reach the top. All were astonished. They asked that frog how this happened? Then they came to know that it was a deaf frog. It thought other frogs were encouraging him to get out. By the way he escaped. Likewise Some people around you may ask you to be on a safer side always and stop trying and taking risks. However, there is no gain without pain. So we should ignore the negative words and try hard to achieve success.

PUT HARD WORK AS YOUR PRIORITY

We are too lazy to do things. We always give priority to things that we love such as mobile, love,  friends ,family and so on. One day a professor entered the classroom with a glass jar, rocks, pebbles, and sand. The students were amused to see what he's going to do. Firstly he filled the jar with rocks, then he started putting the pebbles inside the jar which went inside through the small gaps. The pebbles went into those vacant spaces in between the rocks. After that slowed he poured the sand through the minute gaps and filled the jar. Then  professor explained that this is how we should set priorities in life. Rock is our routine, while pebbles are hard work while sand is the least priorities in life like entertainment, fun, unnecessary quarrels and egos. We should make hard work as our priority And work towards fulfilling it rather than wasting our time in unwanted things.

PASS THROUGH STRUGGLES

In the waves of struggle ,we should swim hard to reach the shore. We all know butterflies which looks colorful and beautiful. But before that they go through many struggles. Their life as a cocoon is not a easy one. Even after small opening they suffer a lot, they struggle for hours. It's by their own they come out of it. And set them free. Even the small butterflies passes through this much struggle then what about humans? We too pass through struggles to find a better life. But the life after struggles is always beautiful and blessed. So everyone should work hard continuously even when they go through struggle times.

SEE OPPORTUNITY IN OBSTACLES

It's  human nature to run away from obstacles. When we see something hard, we ignore that. But seeing opportunity in obstacles is the best way to reach success. There lived a king who decided to test his country people who is a hard worker and who is selfish at their work. He placed a big rock in the middle of the road and hid in the nearby place to see if anyone would make an attempt to move it off. Many people crossed by ,but no one made an attempt to move it. Then there came a farmer ,he tried a lot a finally moved the rock. For his hard work he was rewarded with gold coins by the king. It is quite common for people to run away from problems and obstacles. And that's human nature. But when you see opportunities in obstacles life would be more smoother.

VALUE YOURSELF

One famous quote says that " your ability will not decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth" that's right. We should value ourselves. We should ignore negative words such as "I can't do it, I'm not fit for it, It's impossible for me". Instead Value yourself and work hard to reach your destination. One day a public speaker showed up with 20 dollars in public and asked who wants this ,with no surprise many people raised their hand. Then he crushed the dollar and asked the same question. Still everyone raised their hand. It's all because  the value of the money never decrease despite it's appearance. Likewise each one have their own value. You should believe in yourself and work hard to achieve success.

NOT ALL MEN😌

Not all men are shadows in the night,   Some carry lanterns, spreading light.   The bus driver who paused as I ran,   A stranger who reached out, lending a hand.   The teacher who taught with patience and care,   The childhood friend who was always there.   The shopkeeper who smiled despite the strain,   The kind soul who shared their umbrella in rain.   The colleague who eased a daunting task,   The mentor who answered the questions I asked.   The doctor who stayed long past their time,   The neighbor who shared their food in kind.   The policeman who guided me when I was lost,   The husband who loved me at no thought of cost.   The father who prayed for me The brother who stayed with me  Not all men take; some give and provide, Not all men fall; some rise with pride. Not all men wound; some heal with care, Not all men leave; some always stay ...

LITTLE THINGS THAT MATTERS 😌

Some days just feel too long and heavy. Not because something big happened, but because there were too many small things accumulating. That’s exactly how my day was—tiring, stressful, and my mind was already full of tomorrow’s to-do list. After work, I went to my usual restaurant. It’s a small, familiar place I visit often. I didn’t need to look at the menu. As always, I asked the chef for my favorite bread omelette—even though it’s not on the menu, they always make it for me. I found my seat and waited. Ten minutes passed. No food. That wasn’t normal. The restaurant was clearly busier than usual. The staff were rushing around, handling orders, and somehow, my simple request got lost in the chaos. A waiter came over, looking a little apologetic. “Sorry, we missed your order. Can I take it again?” he asked. Honestly, I was too tired to wait again. I told him so. But he said gently, “Just two more minutes.” Something about his tone made me stay. A few minutes later, the bread omelette fi...

The Hidden Cost of “Free"😢‍🌫️

In a world full of choices, we are often drawn to things that seem "free" or inexpensive. Somewhere, I read that: "NETFLIX doesn't cost Rs. 499,   It costs you your time.   Coke doesn't cost Rs. 30,   It costs you your health.   Social media isn't free,   It costs you your focus. THERE IS ALWAYS A HIDDEN COST!! Yes, it's absolutely true. In all these cases, the upfront cost may seem small, but the true cost is far greater—your time, health, focus, and even privacy. We live in a world where convenience often disguises the real cost. The truth is, nothing is truly free. Whether it's your attention, your health, or your time, there's always something being traded. So, next time something seems free, pause and ask: What am I truly paying for? Because the price tag is never the full story. It’s the hidden costs that we often fail to notice until it’s too late. Remember: If you're not paying for the product, you are the product. ---------
