IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT😶‍🌫️

Hey, can I tell you something? You’re being too hard on yourself. I know you’ve been thinking, "It’s my fault. It’s because of me.” Maybe you even read that quote:   How can I blame the wind for the mess it made, if it was me who opened the door? At first, it made sense—right?   Yes, we make decisions. We open the doors. And we face the consequences of what follows.   But then I read something that completely changed my perspective:   How do I know it’s a wind? I thought it would be a gentle breeze. I thought it would be refreshing. I thought it would be relaxing. I thought it would calm me. That hit differently.   You see, we don’t open doors expecting storms. We open them with hope—hoping for peace, growth, healing, maybe just a little light.   You had good intentions.   And sometimes, things don’t go the way we imagined.   That doesn’t mean it’s your fault.   It means you’re human.   P...

The Hidden Cost of “Free"😶‍🌫️

In a world full of choices, we are often drawn to things that seem "free" or inexpensive. Somewhere, I read that: "NETFLIX doesn't cost Rs. 499,   It costs you your time.   Coke doesn't cost Rs. 30,   It costs you your health.   Social media isn't free,   It costs you your focus. THERE IS ALWAYS A HIDDEN COST!! Yes, it's absolutely true. In all these cases, the upfront cost may seem small, but the true cost is far greater—your time, health, focus, and even privacy. We live in a world where convenience often disguises the real cost. The truth is, nothing is truly free. Whether it's your attention, your health, or your time, there's always something being traded. So, next time something seems free, pause and ask: What am I truly paying for? Because the price tag is never the full story. It’s the hidden costs that we often fail to notice until it’s too late. Remember: If you're not paying for the product, you are the product. ---------

NOT ALL MEN😌

Not all men are shadows in the night,   Some carry lanterns, spreading light.   The bus driver who paused as I ran,   A stranger who reached out, lending a hand.   The teacher who taught with patience and care,   The childhood friend who was always there.   The shopkeeper who smiled despite the strain,   The kind soul who shared their umbrella in rain.   The colleague who eased a daunting task,   The mentor who answered the questions I asked.   The doctor who stayed long past their time,   The neighbor who shared their food in kind.   The policeman who guided me when I was lost,   The husband who loved me at no thought of cost.   The father who prayed for me The brother who stayed with me  Not all men take; some give and provide, Not all men fall; some rise with pride. Not all men wound; some heal with care, Not all men leave; some always stay ...

BEYOND THE MASK💝

You should be brave, not a slave,   Be tough, but never rough.   Be bold, not cold,   Hide your tears and throw away your fears.  Why all this? Because you’re a man,   Expected to do all you can.   But remember, it’s not just a role,   He's a man with a heart, and a soul.  Brave at times, but a slave for his girl, Tough yet a soft man in his daughter’s world. Bold, but not always with his wife, For his mom knows his fears in life.  He doesn’t always need to hide his tears,   For even the sky sheds rain when heavy with fears.   He doesn’t always need to be responsible,   For sometimes it’s okay to be vulnerable.  Remember this truth, he's a boy, not a toy,   With dreams to build, and a life to enjoy.   If you can’t support him, then step aside,   For he needs understanding, not judgment or pride

LIFE AFTER GOODBYE 🙃

It's been 3 years since we said goodbye, But I still think of the day that started with a haii; We laughed together under the sun, Shared everything when the day was done.  We walked down roads, hand in hand,  Dreaming of castles made of sand.  Our plans are always bright and true,  Now seem so far without you.  Same place, same people, and same world I see, But without you, it's not how it used to be; Those moments, just you and me,  Are now the best of my memory.  Wants you turned to missing you,  Life with you turned to without you, All gives me a feeling so strange,  This to that, everything changed.  We can't be together in this life, that's clear, But maybe in another world, we'll be near. Until then, I hope you're happy where you are, Even though we're apart, you’re never far.

IT'S A JOURNEY 👀

Some murmured and some delighted, As it's a baby girl they sighted; But she's a dad's girl and mom's pearl, Growing up in society's whirl.  From baby steps to something new, She started to learn one and two; She began to see the world, And lived as an ambitious girl.  From ambitions to daydreams, She entered her teens with new themes; She observed and came to the conclusion, That the whole world is an illusion.  From dad's little princess to someone's queen, Life is not always as it has been; With love and care, she built a home, Standing as the family's backbone.  As a sister, she's always there to cheer, And a friend who's always near and dear. As a lover, her affection knows no end, And a wife, life's journeys feels like a friend.  As a daughter, she's the family's pride, And as a mother, her love is a constant guide. As a grandmother, her love is warm and deep, Even as a stranger, she's a soul you want to keep.  So here's ...

THE FINAL BELL🥺

S uddenly I realized that it's the last day of my college. No more semesters, No more boring lectures, The corridor we used to play, Will be empty all the day; The canteen we used to eat and chat, Will be memories of where we sat; The time of Sighting our crush Will no more make us blush; The last minute projects and assignments Will no more gives us excitement; What comes next, none can say, As we part, going our own way. Promises made to stay in touch, Yet reality says it won't be that much. Some cried, some laughed, as we bid adieu, Tears rolling down, amongst the few. You not only miss the people you love, But also miss the person who you are now.
